Summer Herbs

My herb garden is flourshing so today I decided to make some sweet use out of them.


I made a simple syrup infused with mint, and the other with rosemary.

-1 cup water
-2 cups sugar
-1/4 cup fresh herbs

On stove top combine water and sugar, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add in herbs. Let cool.

*To keep longer, I canned my syrup by heat sealing the lids.

I also brewed up some herbal sun tea using mint, and lemon grass, lemon peel, and rosemary.
