Chocolate Figs Today my friend, Alexis, and I made chocolate stuffed/covered figs. She found the recipe off of NPR. Here is what we did.

Ingredients
-2 cup chocolate (in pieces)
-1 cup of heavy cream
-24 to 30 figs

1. Bring 1 cup of heavy cream to a boil, then add 1 cup of chocolate in pieces (chocolate chips, bar, etc. milk, dark, semi-sweet, etc.). Once all chocolate is melted transfer into bowl and let set.

2. Take figs and use a pointed tool to poke a hole in the bottom, and swivel it about to push seeds to the sides of the fig and loosen up the innards. Repeat this on 24 to 30 figs.

3. Use a pastry bag to fill the figs with chocolate.

4. Heat another cup of chocolate over stovetop using a double pan. When chocolate is melted, start dipping the ends of the figs. Let figs cool, and enjoy!

Bravo's newest reality/competition, Work of Art, is a thumbs up from me. Not only are the artists good looking, like this here fella, Miles, but the art they make I find somewhat inspirational. Miles is my favorite so far, due to his good looks and screen printing abilities. This show is a work of art in itself. Okay, well not really, but it's fun to watch.
