Generation Rx
Youth of today are trading products made of high fructose corn syrup for hydrocodone and other prescription drugs in order to satisfy their high. The increasing use of painkillers among teens is raising concern due to the dangerous effects of experimenting with prescription medicines. According to the government teen drug abuse website, teens are often found raiding their parent’s and grandparent’s cabinets in search of painkillers, giving them the name “Generation Rx.”
